I have downloaded it and checked it out. My assessment is it is a great tool. It provided my with a link to information about the Goodwood oval Improvement plan, because I live near the oval. It provides contact details to the Administration and provides a list of your elected members. 

It provides you under the report it icon with an opportunity to alert us to a a fallen tree, or footpath trip hazards or other like concerns by allowing you to take a picture and forward it on for action by our deport. That may save me walking the streets and finding issues to report.

It also advises when your next blue, yellow or green bin is due for pick up.

This should prove fantastic for people in my street who some I feel rely on me getting the right colour bin out each week. Now i can be sure i have the right one so everyone can rely on their local Councillor to get it right. Better yet, they wont have to wait for me to put my bins out.

A total of 22 Councils in South Australia have implemented the App as part of the Local Government Association’s early adopter program.

Implementation of the My Local Services App is part of the City of Unley improving its customer service delivery on a mobile platform.
