A recent traffic study in Aroha Terrace has confirmed concerns raised by a resident to Jennie and I in an adjacent street meeting held by our Federal local member Kate Ellis.

Speeds recorded indicate a high level of drivers exceeding the speed limit.

This will be taken on board in the LATM mentioned in an earlier blog post tonight for the Black Forest area.

I sense that there will be a number of issues that comes out of this study that we will need to budget for you next years upcoming budget, the least of which being the initial reason for doing it….determining what is occurring with the school traffic after the completion of the overpass and underpass on South Road.
