Yes, the much expected first member of the electric rolling stock is on it’s way, on the back of a low loader. Not sure why it couldn’t be rail freighted but, well that’s another storey.

Having said that and read that, the rolling stock will be in hibernation until January or maybe February before being “rolled” out for service. Much testing is needed before they can be put into action.

We are still I believe looking at trains back on this line in September, the old 3000 Diesels that is. The 2000’s will be too high for the electric infrastructure.
