Further to my post of the 11th of this month on this blog site I advise my understanding is that we (Council) have been waiting on DPTI getting all the relevant people on the various Rail electrification projects together before we meet with them. Only then can we know precisely what we can and cant do in respect of influencing the design of the green ways.

Not sure when but I believe this meeting is very soon with our own Manager Infrastructure.

What I can say for sure is that the team assembled by DPTI means we will be able to look at the entire length of the greenways path within council boundaries, from Emerson Road to Greenhill Road.

Once this is done I have asked our Manager to brief the 4 elected members whose wards are impacted by this, our very own Goodwood South and also Goodwood Ward so we can start the process of consultation with affected residents.
