Reconciliation Week was celebrated at the Civic Centre again this year instead of under the gum tree at Heywood Park. Weather again interfering.

Children from local schools around Unley learnt from Torres Straight Islander Eddie Peters some of the history of the Islands.

During his presentation he taught us a cultural dance and explained the meanings behind the markings and colourings of the Torres Straight Islands flag, seen below.
