For anyone thinking of putting their hand up there are a number of articles providing information about how to and what you would be taking on. I posted n this myself back on August 1 here.

The Local Government Association have a deal of information as do Council, to name a few.

But try out what elected member of our neighbouring ward (Goodwood), Bob Schnell has to say. Follows up well I think on my blog post. Mind you h has me wondering if I am doing too much, of that is possible.

If you think you have what it takes, have the passion to serve your community and you think you can fit in the hours it would take then why not go for it. Can I suggest you run in another ward though…..please! I can do without the opposition.
