The Ron Young Grant to revert to it’s original intention.
The City Strategy & Policy Committee has (in my mind) correctly agreed with the sentiments of the Ron Young Grant Committee and it’s chair, Cr Michael Hewitson that the grants being approved should better reflect the original intent of the donor.
This needs ratifying at our next full council meeting but I have no reason to believe it won’t.
