Our Double Shot Coffee Fiesta has just been named Best New Event in South Australia at the Australian Event Awards.

Anyone who visited the Double Shot event held earlier this year in the Unley Memorial Gardens, next to the Unley Shopping Centre would be well aware that ti was a first class event. And readers of this blog site would remember that Chris and Carnevale was there as a prominent contributor.


The Australian Event Awards are considered the pinnacle awards program for the events industry in Australia. The program is guided by ongoing industry consultation to answer the need for cohesiveness across the entire Australian industry, to develop industry identity and to assist Australian operators in cross-development of opportunities between events and event disciplines.

The Best New Event category recognises the innovation associated with the staging of a new event and included the following judging criteria:

Although we have missed out on a National award, we are thrilled with the State acknowledgment, and we will be presented with a certificate in November.
