Addressing another of my election commitments back in 2018, Council is progressing with our new Economic Development Growth Strategy. Kick-starting the strategy we aim to find out what businesses do want from Council?

One of the first steps identified in the strategy is the development of an online business hub. A hub that would feature prominently on the City of Unley’s website. What better way in finding out what businesses do want from Council is by way of an online business survey with you.

This evolved out of the deliberations of our Economic Development Committee.

The survey went live last night. It closes on Sunday 5 September.

We have developed the survey to try and identify what information your business would like at your fingertips. This will assist us in building an online business hub. A hub connecting you to the services and resources you need to run a successful business.

The feedback received from the survey will ensure that an online business hub that:

     1 is tailored to meet your business’s needs.
     2 make it easy for you to find the information and resources you are after online.
     3 make it easier for you to access Council support, regulatory and legislative information.
     4 make it easier and quicker for you to run and grow your Unley based business.

To give all businesses a little extra encouragement, we are running a competition. Survey participants can enter a draw for the chance to WIN one of five $150 vouchers. Vouchers that can be used in another Unley based bricks and mortar business. Perhaps a retail store, or a takeaway or dine-in food/hospitality business!
