Hughes Gallery at Unley’s Fullarton Community Centre is hosting an art collection by Tania Aliis Lapidge, daughter of co-councilor Anthony Lapidge (Fullarton Ward).
It is great to witness and to speak with, as I did last night at the opening of the collection, the work of a young vibrant artist.
The works of this delightful young lady, who also announced her recent engagement to Ben, are inspired by camping adventures amongst beautiful Australian scenery. Each piece makes a distinct impression with bold colour, textural techniques and paint applications.
I have seen her works previously and did also notice some in the recent SALA exhibition at the Unley shopping centre.
