Council is reviewing its by-laws and the drafts are available for inspection at the Council offices during normal business hours, and via the links below.  There are 5 by-laws which provide for the regulation of activities on roads, footpaths and council land in its area;

  • Permits and penalties,
  • Roads,
  • Local Government land,
  • Moveable signs,
  • Dogs.

By-law No.1
Permits and Penalties By-Law 2015:  A by-law to regulate permits and penalties issued by Council.

By-law No. 2
Roads By-Law 2015:  A by-law to regulate or prohibit certain activities on roads in the Council area.

By-law No. 3
Local Government Land By-Law 2015:  A by-law to regulate the access to and use of local government land (other than roads) and certain public places.

By-law No. 4
Moveable Signs By-Law 2015:  A by-law to set standards for moveable signs on roads and to provide conditions for the placement of such signs.

By-law No. 5
Dogs By-Law 2015:  A by-law to limit the number of dogs kept on premises and for the management and control of dogs in the Council area.
