Council recently selected their preferred candidate for the position of new CEO.
We were presented with two candidates after an exhaustive process saw our consultants prune a list of some 50 applicants down to 10. This group was further pruned down to 4 and then 2 by our own selection panel (a panel of 6 elected members).
At Monday night’s Council meeting we will be asked to sanction the remuneration package negotiated with the successful candidate.
Once this is done and the successful candidate agrees to the package we will be in a position to announce the result.
