After some design work and costing has been carried out to address issues I raised some time ago with our administration we will soon be close to being able to organise a street meeting of residents who have an interest in

   Saving our street trees

   Retaining the boardwalk as a safe means of traversing that footways in that area

   Making the boardwalk OHSW compliant

   Making it disability accessible

   Allowing for pushers, prams, wheelchairs, and scooters travelling in opposite directions to pass each other.

It will be pleasing to see the problems with what otherwise was a noble project carried out a few years back.

It will be pleasing also to have some success on an issue raised with me during the election campaign a year ago; to know I have helped bring about a result.
